My Fellow Marylanders,

American ideals and freedoms have been held hostage, not by terrorist, but by its own government for the past 6 years. A myriad of failed policies, an insurmountable debt, foreign policy that has weakened our global standing, and a constitution that has been not only ignored, but insulted. It is time to take back control, it is time to restore our good name as Americans and it is time we took our rightful place as a partner and a respected leader in this global community.

To do so, we must first change course. We must restore the constitution, habeas corpus, and the rights of citizens who are not a threat to our country. We must have full government accountability, not only in law, but also in finance. We must stand down in Iraq, and we must close Guantanamo Bay and other secret prisons around the globe and bring those to trial who have or have threatened to harm our nation. We must clean our environment, protect our air and waterways. We must stop the corporate fleecing of America and provide social security and health care benefits to all. Only when we stand for the right ideals, will the rest of the world stand with us and we can truly find peace and prosperity for all.

We are a dynamic nation whose diversity truly is it's strength. We are not a one-issue country.

My diverse background in the fields of health care, military and business gives me the insight needed to address the issues at hand. Join me and lets restore our country together.
